BDM 100 is a universal reader/programmer (it does not require our RACE software necessarily) that allows the user to read and program files in the ECU supplied with MOTOROLA MPC5xx processor (essential).
BDM 100 requires the ECU to be open, "on the bench", as the reading/programming operations are realized by linking a flat cable to specific area the ECU (the tool, on the other side, is linked to the USB port of a computer).
BDM 100 allows also creating good copies of the whole software of an ECU (after having read the original ECU software).
The software allows reading and programming the WHOLE ECU content of: 29BL802 SSOP eprom file (or ROM memory with maps if eprom physically not present); MOTOROLA MPC5xx Processor file; Serial Eprom content.
Please note that even in the case of the ECU blocking, due to the wrong checksum recalculation, the ECU can always be reprogrammed and then retrieved (if the original software has been previously stored).

New Upa-usb is the full set with all adapters, The main Device can be directly connected to the Elrasoft.com UUSP (UPA-USB Serial Programmer) or by an optional DB9 male / female 1:1 extension cable. It is equipped with an 40pin ZIF Socket for all narrow and wide DIP / DIL devices as well as with a 16 pin SOIC ZIF (150mil, narrow) socket to cover most commonly used devices.
Device configuration is done over special config keys which make the work convenient and safe compared to wiring up all manually.
Additional packages can be covered by commonly available Adapters plugged into the 40 pin ZIF socket.
The main Device further includes a 10 pin ISP connector where the included ISP Adapters can be connected using a standard 1:1 flatribbon cable (included). The included PLCC ISP Adapters are to be put directly over the soldered chip of the target device making the work convenient and safe compared to soldering or using clips connecting up all manually. (Power from the UUSP to the ISP target can be enabled or disabled by a jumper next to the 10 pin ISP connector).
The TPM50 is to be used with a properly formatted TPMS scanning tool
